Being part of the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Ambassadors has always meant more than service to me it represents purpose, connection, and the ability to create meaningful change. Our recent project focused on Life Below Water (SDG 14) was one of those experiences that truly stayed with me. Standing by the ocean with my fellow Lions, holding our Sri Lankan flag, I felt a deep sense of responsibility. In that moment, it became so clear that the ocean is not just something we admire it is something that sustains us. It provides oxygen, supports livelihoods, and plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of our planet. Yet, despite everything it gives us, it is often overlooked.
